Sherry Kay (Freeman) Bradshaw

Cheryl "Sherry" Kay Bradshaw, 67, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. Sherry was born on April 29, 1957, in Scottsboro, Alabama, to the late Henry and Mary (Campbell) Freeman.

Raised in Madison County, Sherry spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends in the Huntsville area. She worked for 27 years as a dedicated server at Mullins Restaurant, where she made countless friends and left a lasting impression on those she served. Sherry had a deep love for music and could often be found singing while tidying up around the house. She also enjoyed playing bingo, cheering for Alabama football, and watching NASCAR races. Her strong faith in God guided her throughout her life, providing her with strength and peace.

Sherry is survived by her children: Robert "Robby" Bradshaw, Roy (Amber) Bradshaw, and Shane (Katie) Bradshaw; her grandchildren: Khloe Bradshaw and Brooklynn "Paige" Bradshaw; her sisters: Becky Deerman and Debbie Gamble; her special aunt, Brenda Buchanan, her former spouse, Bobby Bradshaw along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Freeman; her brother, Bobby Jess Freeman; and her sister, Lindy Stanley.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Fredrick Gibson, will follow at 2:00 PM.
