Stanley Woods

Stanley Bruce Woods died on March 27, 2016 at the age of 60. His Huntsville, Alabama beside was surrounded by his loving family as he peacefully passed.

Stanley was born on July 27, 1955 in Huntsville, AL, to father Douglas Haskel Woods and mother Pearl Jean (Adkins) Woods, who predeceased him. He grew up in a large loving blended family and helped raise his own blended family.

Stanley is survived by his three children: two sons Christopher and Brian Woods and step - daughter Rebecca (Mathews) DeLeon; his four sisters: Rondia Purvis, Kay Gentle, Debbie Quickley, and Cynthianna Cass; his three brothers: Doug and Billy Woods and Kenneth Hunt; as well as twelve grand children, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stanley requested to be cremated and there will be no services held. A reception will be held on Tuesday March 29th; please contact the family for details. The family would especially like to thank everyone who was involved in Stanley’s care and attentive treatment; and the Hazel Green Funeral Home, for making the arrangements.
