Steven John Pitts
October 19, 1980 — November 24, 2018
Steven John Pitts, 38, of Flintville, TN, formerly of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Saturday at his home.
Steven recently came to know Christ and was excited about his new future as a Christian. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hiking and driving, sometimes many miles, to find snow with his wife. He was an Alabama football fan and he loved fishing.
Surviving family members include his wife, Crystal Ann Beasley Pitts; His sons: Christopher Tye Thrasher, Forest Tre' (Cori) Reed, and July Shane Herring; His six grandchildren: Lane, Trace, Naveah, Athena, Lakin, and Bryeson; His mother, Rosemarie Clark; His sister, Christy Hamby; His niece, Madelyn Hamby; His brothers-in-law: Hope Junior (Brenda) Walker, Brian Shane (Patsy) Beasley, and Kevin Earl (Carolyn) Beasley; His sisters-in-law: Virginia Milina Thomas and Dana Catrina (Mark) Weaver. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening beginning at 6pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7pm.
