Thelma Mae (Blevins) Mann
February 20, 1928 — January 31, 2025
Thelma Mae Blevins Mann, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Hazel Green, Alabama, on January 31, 2025. Born on February 20, 1928, Thelma lived a long and fulfilling life dedicated to her family, faith, and service to others.
A visitation will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Thelma will be laid to rest at Huntsville Memory Gardens Cemetery immediately following her funeral service.
Thelma is survived by her children: John Mann of Salt Lake City, Utah; Stephen Mann of Hazel Green, Alabama; and Sandra Mann Barker of Hazel Green, Alabama. She is also a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gene Mann of Hazel Green, Alabama; her son, Luther S. Mann of Madison, Alabama; and all of her siblings.
A 1948 graduate of Scottsboro High School, Thelma later served her country in the United States Air Force during the 1950s. She was also an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
