Tiffiny Rose Vann, 48, passed away on June 22,2023, in Hazel Green, Al.  Tiffiny was born on November 23, 1974, in Bremerhaven, Germany, to Valerie M Schlafke and Calvin P Schlafke.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth O. Vann, daughters, Ann-Marie Schlafke and Kristin Taylor Vann; mother, Valerie, father, Calvin, brother, Calvin Paul Schlafke, and sister Charity Ann Schlafke-Bruncz as well as Nicole Bailey.   Tiffiny was preceded in death by her grandparents, Darwin J. Hansen, Bela Hansen, and Nancy J Schlafke.

Growing up as a military brat and moving over 10 times, Tiffiny understood the importance of family, friends, and home.  She lived for her girls, Ann-Marie and Kristin.

While working at Ray Pearman Lincoln, she met and fell in love with Ken Vann and they were married on July 22, 1999.  Through her short life, she held many professions that included: waiting tables, cashier, restaurant manager, and package handler.  Most recently, she worked at both UPS and Main Street Cafe.

To know Tiffiny was to love her.  She had a heart of gold, and her friends were as close as family.  She had a soft spot for unwanted big dogs and adopted all those she fostered (foster failures).  Tiffiny's spirit for life never faltered and was apparent during her long fight with MS.
