Tim Simmons

Timothy Edward Simmons, 41, of Hazel Green passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James Henry and Daisy Simmons and Terry Glen and Dorothy Smith and one nephew, Nicholas Michael Simmons.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Sandy Simmons, one brother, Michael and wife Teresa Simmons; one sister, Jenifer and husband David Atkins; one nephew, Avery Atkins; two nieces, Katie Simmons and Ella Atkins all of Hazel Green.
He graduated from Hazel Green High School in 1996 as valedictorian of his senior class. He received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Funeral services will be Saturday 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Rodney Underwood. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens in Meridianville.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 11-1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
