Tim Southard

Funeral services for Tim Southard age 61 of New Market, Alabama will be conducted Saturday 2 PM from the Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Alverson officiating and burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Mr. Southard passed away Monday at Huntsville Hospital. He was a dedicated member of the New Market Vol. Fire Department for over thirty five years and he put his heart and soul in the community. He loved hunting, fishing and most of all, his family. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Junior Southard, his grandparents, mother and father in law, aunt, cousins and several other family members and loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lee Woods Southard, one son Jason and Leona Southard, one daughter, Cindy Southard Welch, his mother, Lucille Southard, his grandchildren, Jacob Southard, Nathan Welch, Kelsie Rush, Alex Welch, Logan Southard, Xander Brooks, Mackenzie Brooks, McKinnley Jeans, Braeleigh Southard and Landyn Southard and one great grandson, Jaxon Welch, one brother, Billy and Marie Southard, one sister in law, Robbie and Morgan Mitchell and one brother in law, Steve and Laura Woods, several nieces, nephews along with numerous other family members. Pallbearers will be, Jeb Aycock, Jacob Aycock, Dirk Manning, Zack Mitchell, Austin Phelps, Sean Perry and Sean Medley.

Visitation will be Friday 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
