Timothy Randall Echols

Timothy Randall "Spanky" Echols, 53, of New Market, passed away on Sunday.

He worked for Chambers Bottling Company and was a Christian and member of Oakley Baptist Church.  He was an avid fan of dirt track racing and participated as a pit crew member.

He was preceded in death by his father, J C Echols; His grandparents:  Clayton & Jalla Echols and Lonnie & Mary Carver.

Surviving family members include his mother, Geraldine Echols;  His sisters, Cindy Echols and Loretta (Jeff) Hatcher;  His brother, Joe (Denice) Echols;  His nieces, Charis, Alyssa, Erin, and Joy; He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 5pm.  A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11am at Miller Cemetery in New Market.
