Vera Riddle
February 19, 1939 — January 24, 2021
On Sunday, January 24, 2021 Vera Riddle age 81 of Hazel Green passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Riddle, two daughters, Kathy Riddle and Melissa Hall, her parents, Thurman Sr. and Nannie B. Hicks and one brother, Ronnie Hicks.
Surviving family members include, two daughters, Vickie Holman and Wanda (Rickey) Lamb, two sons, Brian (Melissa) Riddle and Bruce (Paula) Riddle, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, two brothers, Sam Hicks and Thurman Jr. (Pat) Hicks and one sister, Ann (Ben) Douglas.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki officiating and burial following in the Charity Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brook Hicks, Brad Hicks, Taylor Riddle, Justin Riddle, Mark Hicks and Darin Rutledge.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
