Wade Wilson, 80, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on January 18, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on May 26, 1939 and was the son of the late Mack and Bessie Wilson. He had retired from Shannon Brothers Tile after 35 years of employment.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Larry Wade Wilson; By his sisters, Annie Robinson and Mattie Belle Hicks; By his brothers, Jim Wilson, Tom Wilson, Casto Wilson, Ed Wilson, and Joe Wilson.
Surviving family members include his wife of 60 years, Nadine Wilson of Hazel Green, Alabama; His daughter, Melody Wilson Britton and her husband, Nelson of New Market, Alabama; His grandchildren: McKenzie Britton, Brittani Britton, Morgan Goolsby, Nelson Ray Britton Jr, Chelsea & Will Kimmins; His great-grandchildren, Addy and Aubree Kimmins; His sister, Ovie Lasater of Hazel Green, Alabama.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Bevill's Cemetery.
