Wallace O'Neal Reeves

Wallace O'Neal (Neal) Reeves, 76, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday, September 14, at his home.

He was born in Athens Alabama.  Neal was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He was a skilled barber and served his Hazel Green community at Neal's barber for many years.  However, his family were of great joy to him and enormous source of joy throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his, wife, Patricia,  son, David O'Neal Reeves, sisters, Iva Bell Helms, Barbara Bradley, Lynette Reeves, and brother Eugene Reeves.

Surviving Neal are children: Stacie Manley, Sherry (Randall) Martin, Robert Reeves, and Eric (Kristy) Reeves;  His grandchildren: Amberley Pennington, Chris Martin, Ashley Martin, Travis Martin, Madison Reeves, Nate Reeves, and Bryce Reeves;  Him great-grandchildren: Alyssa Potts, Addison Pennington, Jackson Pennington, Oliver Brace, Paisley Madewell, Lincoln Madewell and Evelyn Martin; His sisters, Betty Gunter, Glenda Williams and Renea Waters.

The family has planned a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 28 at 2pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church (main sanctuary) located at 1936 Elkwood Section Road in Hazel Green.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospitals.
