Waneta "Nita" Timmany
June 13, 1921 — July 29, 2014
Mrs. Waneta "Nita" Timmany, 93, of Hazel Green, Alabama, formerly of Utica, New York, passed away on Tuesday at her home surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law, and two of her grandchildren.
She attended mass at St. Mary's Church of the Visitation with her family.
Mrs. Timmany was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Bowman (1945), and then by Ralph Timmany (1975), by three brothers, Charles, Emery, and James Sprague, by her grandson, Sean Powers (1987), and by her great-granddaughter, R. Chase Nobert.
She is survived by her four daughters: Karen Dunham of Rome, NY, Sandra Moran of Zephyrhills, Fl, Marilyn Nobert of Manassas, VA, and Terri Powers of Hazel Green, Al; two sons: John Timmany of Fort Wayne, IN and Charles Timmany of Conway, SC; Her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Sprague of Clay, NY and Alverta Sprague of Auburn, In; 18 Grandchildren and 22 Great-grandchildren.
