Wayne Whaley

Mr. Wayne Whaley, 74, of Hazel Green, passed away on Friday at home. Mr. Whaley was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bettie Whaley; His daughters, Tammy (Gary) Acton and Teena (Jeff) Harbin; His brother, Edley Whaley Jr.; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ruth Hodges and Shirley Roland, and by one brother, Nolan Whaley.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
