Mr. Willis Earl Tucker, age 79, entered this life on December 21, 1944, in Flintville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Fred Earl Tucker and Mattie Lou Williamson Tucker Schrimsher. His father passed away on September 4, 1945, and he was raised by his mother in Hazel Green, Alabama. He was united in marriage to Judy Ann Davis and this union of 26 years was blessed with two daughters, Jennifer, and Angela. He worked as a truck driver most of his working career with Dykes Restaurant Supply. Earl passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 5:35 p.m. at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Earl will be missed by his daughters, Jennifer Jones of Hazel Green, Alabama and Angela Clark and her husband, Allen of Ardmore, Alabama; his grandchildren, Tyler Whiteley and his wife Krista Whiteley, Amber Curtis and her husband Tyler Curtis, Noah Jones; his great-grandchildren, Oliviah Barnes, Landen Barnes, Aiden Curtis, Chevy Curtis, Eleanor Whiteley. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Earl Tucker, his mother, Mattie Lou Williamson Tucker Schrimsher, and the mother of his daughters, Judy Ann Davis Tucker.
He is survived by his sisters Reba Cooper (and her husband Clarence) of Indiana, Shirley Sullenger (her husband Dean) of Tennessee, Lena Howard (her husband Wayne) of Tennessee, and Brenda Morris of Texas and his brothers Dennis “Dent” Schrimsher (his wife Barbara) of Alabama, Rick Schrimsher of Alabama, Junior Schrimsher of Missouri, and James Schrimsher of Nevada.
Family will be received for viewing Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
Interment will follow in the Bevills Chapel Cemetery (near his mother and father), 592 Bevills Church Road in Hazel Green, Alabama.
