Woodrow ManleySeptember 28, 1918 ~ January 10, 2009Woodrow Manley, age 90 of Hazel Green, died Saturday. He was the son of the late Henry and Clara Stewart Manley and was born in the Hazel Green community. He had retired from the Madison County Commission District #1 where he was a heavy equipment operator. He attended the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy.He was preceded in death by his son, J.W. Manley and his sister, Lucile Manley Slayton. He is survived by his wife, Helen Manley; His daughter: Karon Manley Smith and her husband Kent; His son: Weldon Manley and his wife Janice; Step-sons, Eddie Layne and his wife Pat & Nolan Layne and his wife Pam - all of Hazel Green; His sister Letha Hughes and his brother, Jerry Toon, both of Lincoln County, TN along with 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6 until 8 at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2PM at the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Harold St. Clair officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour before the service.
