Fay Hill

Mrs. Fay Hill, 81, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Hill was a member of Hayes Chapel Baptist Church and had owned and operated the House of Cakes in the Walnut Grove Community for a number of years.   She attended Douglas High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hill; Her parents, Euliss Wade "Jack" Gunter and Savada Adell Norris Gunter; Her sister-in-law, Arnice Gunter;

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Hill Helton and husband, Tony;  Her three sons: Donny Donovan and his wife, Anita, Mike Donovan and his wife, Judie, and David Donovan; 2 brothers: James Gunter and Bobby Gunter and his wife, Mag; step daughters, Linda Vaughn and Peggy White (Ray).Her eight grandchildren: Lance Donovan, Michael Donovan, Emily Donovan Stephens, Bradley Smith, Eric Donovan, D.J. Donovan, Matthew Donovan, and Lexie Helton; step-grandchildren, Sarah Martin (Chad) and Nathan White. Her five great-grandchildren: Kaylin Donovan, Raegan Donovan, Logan Smith, Taylor Smith, and Grayson Smith.Step-great-grandchildren, Abigail Martin and Willow Martin.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Eddie Clardy officiating.  Burial will follow in Bevill's Cemetery.
