Lee Evans

Mr. Lee R. Evans, 80, of Decatur, Alabama, formerly of Cullman passed away on Wednesday.

He was a retired supervisor from the manufacturing industry and had worked at Cargil and Decatur Utilities. He enjoyed building model trains. He was a Christian and a part of the First Nazarene Church of Cullman where he helped with Upward Basketball, made cotton candy for the kids, helped with Sunday School, and helped with the nursing home ministry.  He was also part of Gideons International.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee & Olean Evans; His first wife, Vickie Evans; His daughter-in-law, Connie Evans; His grandson, Matthew Perry.

Surviving family members include his wife, Jean Evans;  His daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Dale Perry;  His son, David Evans; Step-son, Brian & Jennifer Smith; Step-Daughters: Anderia & David Parker and Chandra & Ted Miller;  His grandchildren: Caleb Perry, Chris Perry, Baileigh Evans, Ryan Parker, Blake Parker, Makenna Smith, Malia & Joey Brown, Grayson Miller, and Asher Miller;  His great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Perry & Aria Parker.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2pm at Pine Burr Cemetery with Pastor Scott Sessions officiating.
