Kara Padilla Ewing of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Wednesday at her home.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt - and she was a friend to many. She was a Christian and enjoyed serving God and others. Kara loved all animals and was always willing to take care of animals that had been mistreated.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marina "Rina" Madden; Her nephew, James Kruft; Her sister-in-law, Lt. Col. Mary Ewing;
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ewing; Her daughter, Carletta Padilla; Grandchildren: Anastasia, Coleton, Dakota, Jayden, & Addelyn Padilla; Her sisters, Tina Padilla & Susan Tate; Her brother, Larry Tate; Her nephews, Matthew and Kenneth Madden; Her parents: James Ray and Shirley Tate;
The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4pm with Dr. Warren Herring officiating. Burial will then be in Charity Cemetery.
