Robert E Orr

Rev. Robert E. Orr Jr, 80, of Huntsville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon.

He was born in Plymouth, Indiana and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1954.  He then attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1958 and a master's degree in 1960.  He spent his life serving God in the gospel ministry. His service included founding Grace Baptist Church in Frankfort, Indiana in 1962.  He was also the pastor of First Baptist Church of Warsaw, Indiana and Berachah Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama.  In later years, he taught at Calvary Baptist Academy and faithfully served as a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Pastor Orr is survived by his wife of 58 years, Christine Orr; His three sons and their spouses:  Daniel and Hae-Ock Orr,  Tim and Marisol Orr, and David and Laurie Orr;  His eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.  He is also survived by his two brothers and their wives, Michael & Jeanie Orr and Patrick & Sherri Orr, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 11/16 at 10 am at Calvary Baptist Church.   A Celebration of Life will follow at 11am with Pastor Greg McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Gardens.
