Tommy Sharp

Thomas "Tommy" Sharp, 67, of Huntsville, passed away on Saturday at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Sharp, who was a hard worker, was a farmer and was employed by Tate Farms for over 27 years.  He loved spending time with his family and his friends, was an Auburn football fan, and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Jennie Sharp;  His brothers, Buddy Sharp & Gene Sharp;  His sister, Dorothy Smith.

Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Ruby Raines Sharp;  Daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Shaun Presley;  Grandson:  Steven Presley;  Sister: Evylea Johnson.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Noon at the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
