Mr. Rickey David Smotherman passed away on Friday.   He was 63.  Mr. Smotherman was raised and lived most of his life in the Hazel Green community.

Rickey had a great sense of humor, loved to cut-up and was never serious.  He loved his family very much, especially his nieces and nephew.

Ernest Ray Bragg of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday morning at his home.  He was 75.

Mr. Bragg was a 1968 graduate of Sparkman High School.  He then served in the United States Army.  He was a kind, good man who loved others and adored his dogs - considering them his children.
